Rachael joined the Training Effects Team after being a client for many years. Rachael feels that TE is like family and wants all of her clients to feel the same. She applies her psychology background to the field of personal training and believes that clients should feel socially and emotionally comfortable while in the gym . Most clients who come into TE are looking to lose weight, increase their fitness level and make a lifestyle change. Rachael creates a safe workout program that works with the functional capacity of each individual. She utilizes the OPT (optimum performance training) system developed by The National Academy of Sports Medicine. This type of training systematically progresses any client to any goal by using the 3 building blocks of training–Stabilization, Strength, and Power. This program incorporates all forms of training (flexibility, cardiorespiratory, core, balance, reactive, speed, agility, quickness and resistance) and is designed to help clients become conditioned and ultimately lead them to their weight loss goal and improve overall health. Rachael believes that if you train hard and eat clean, you are guaranteed to get results.
